Tournament Results at Annbriar

60 players teed it up at Annbriar Golf Course for the inaugural Amateur Players Tour event. The course was in phenomenal condition and players battled the high winds to shoot some great scores. Congratulations to all of our champions!

In the Spieth Division (0-3.9), John Todd kicked off the fall season with a great opening nine of 33 that propelled him to the only under-par round of the day, shooting 71 to earn a 7-shot victory over Josh Edison and Nate McCutcheon (78).

In the Thomas Division (4.0-8.9), 18 holes were not enough to decide a champion. Marco Tallerico and Steve Hasenfratz ended the day tied at 3-over par 75. On the first playoff hole, Tallerico hit a long drive that almost reached the green. Hasenfratz hit a wedge shot to 20 feet and then lipped out a putt for birdie that looked good the entire way. Tallerico made his 10-foot putt for birdie to seal the win. Kevin Erxleben finished in 3rd with 79.

In the Koepka Division (9.0-13.9), Chad Crawford earned a 1-shot victory with a solid 9-over par 81 performance. He edged out Bill Wirtz (82) and Scott Klassen (82) for the victory.

In the Mickelson Division (14.0-18.9), Zhi Zhong fired a 13-over par 85 to earn a 2-shot victory over Gi Watson (87). Jerry Miller finished in 3rd place with a 88.

In the Fowler Division (19.0 & up), Selena Droce earned her first ever competitive victory with a solid 20-over round of 92. She bested Greg Cobourn, Dave Parker, and Aaron Todd, who finished 7-strokes back with rounds of 99.
