The Amateur Players Tour is the leading golf tour for players of all skill levels in the St. Louis area. Golfers are invited to compete at elite-level courses in golf tournaments against players of their own skill level in flighted stroke-play competition. Players are divided into 5 Divisions based upon their skill level. Ladies and Seniors are encouraged to play, and are allowed to play from a shorter distance. All scoring is gross within each division, ensuring fair play. All play on the Amateur Players Tour is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players compete in each tournament for VISA Gift Card Payouts, as well as trophies which are awarded to the Champions of each Division. An optional cash skins game is available, but is optional for an additional $20 per day. Players also compete in a Season-long points race to claim the Player of the Year title and a season-long prize package valued at the USGA Maximum allowed prize of $750. LAKE FOREST COUNTRY CLUB | LAke St. Louis, MO | SUNDAY, MAY 5th

On Sunday May 5th, the St. Louis Tour traveled to the beautiful Lake Forest Country Club in Lake St. Louis Mo. Lake Forest has been host to many prestigious tournaments, including a Nike Tour Event and numerous USGA Qualifiers.  Players faced wet conditions, with tight, tree-lined fairways and fast, undulating greens on a beautiful early May Sunday.

Join the Amateur Players Tour as it travels to Spencer T. Olin Golf Course Located in Alton, IL Sunday, May 19th. The 18 Hole Championship layout challenges golfers of all skill levels. Arnold Palmer designed this course layout at the request of his life long friend of over forty years, Spencer T. Olin. Mr. Palmer’s goal was to design a course challenging enough for the skilled golfer, but yet enjoyable for the average golfer. Spencer T. Olin hosted the 1996 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Link Championship and the ESPN televised 1999 U.S. Men’s Amateur Public Links Championship. The cost is $95. Come and play some of the top-ranked area courses against players of your own skill level!
